About Us

The Arbuckle Community Foundation is incorporated under California, Nonprofit Public Benefit Law. The IRS has granted 501 (c)(3) status with deductions available under code section 170. The Community of Arbuckle is approximately fifty miles north of Sacramento on the Interstate-5 corridor. The residents of Arbuckle are finding that along with population growth, comes the need for public facilities to provide a venue for the programs a healthy community requires.

Some examples of possible uses are:

auditorium & meeting space
rooms for extra curricular activities and classes
day care
a meeting place for seniors

To fulfill this need the Arbuckle Community Foundation has been formed.

Our mission is to:

fund raise
purchase real estate
remodel or construct a building
maintain the community center for the public use

The foundation will own and operate the building providing the environment in which other community entities house their programs.

This project will address the needs of the community. In order to meet these needs we are soliciting the input of all community members. Let us know what you feel is needed in a community center during the design process so that we provide the best that we can.

The seven member board is currently comprised of five people with diverse backgrounds. Our members have experience in:

education
accounting
military
architecture

One member speaks Spanish fluently. The board meets the first or second Thursday of each month. Committees are advisory in nature with all decisions made by the Board of Directors.

The Board of Directors is seeking volunteers to fill out our advisory committees in:

fund-raising & grant writing
real estate acquisition
building design
education
